Now that I have to do horrible boring adult things like pay rent and bills, I feel that wardrobe “planning” may be a smart way to go. So I’ve found some of my favourite cheap and cheerful and $$$$$$ drewl worthy counterparts as inspiration for a wonderfully cold winter in my new town.
I’ve decided to go some classic Ralph Lauren looks (and well, when you work in the store you do just fall in love), some Prada (if a somewhat pre-used alternative may come about), some chunky knits pared back with cute jewels and colourful bursts of leather in-between tan and navy staples.
I’ll keep you updated with my high street, online and opshop finds in the next few months to come for a delicious Australian winter. T x
With all of the beautiful images in the past few weeks from NYFW - I can’t help but crave going back to the fantastic big apple. Have been looking over my travel images from 2012, and can’t help drewl over the fabrics, shopping, amazing people and of course - all the clothes.
But alas home is in Australia, and although NYC may have to wait another year or two - the Melbourne move awaits in two weeks time. It may not quite be New York, but I cannot wait to experience restaurants (open on a Monday night), winter clothes (below 20 degrees!!!!!!!), and happily accepted quirkiness.
Expect some Melbourne posts to be hitting up your feeds in the near future.
